Women in Law and development in Africa – Afrique de l’Ouest (WiLDAF-AO) has the particularity of being both a network and an NGO of field intervention and influence with decision makers and institutions. To this end, it actively participates in meetings of the main sub-regional, regional and international institutions dealing with women’s and girls’ human rights issues in order to advocate for the consideration of their rights and needs. WiLDAF-AO has carried out several sub-regional projects and actions on different themes, in which the network has proven expertise. These are, among others

Women’s participation in political and public decision-making;
The issue of violence against women and girls including traditional harmful practices,
